The new multidisciplinary research project BIONIC LACE received a grant for “Contemporary Use of Crafts” from the Creative Industries Fund NL. For BIONIC LACE we collaborate with lace artist Margreeth Heijs and Touwslagerij Steenbergen to implement our shared vision of a lightweight and energy-efficient structures of the future by developing 3D laces.
